Two teenagers remain in hospital after attack in Oxford

A police scene watch around Nightingale Avenue will remain in place 'for some time. '

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information and witnesses following an assault in Oxford.

Last night officers were called to Nightingale Avenue to reports of a disorder.

Two men, both in their late teens, were seriously injured and were taken to hospital, where they both remain at this time.

One man, aged 18, from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent and dangerous driving.

A scene watch is currently in place in the area and Police are urging members of the public to speak to officers if they have any concerns.

Investigating Officer Detective Inspector James Holden-White, based at Banbury Police Station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anybody with information, to please come forward.

“I would urge people in the area at the time to check dash-cam footage and if anyone has any information please call 101 or make a report online using the reference number 43220031232."
