The garage on Thame Road caught ablaze, stopping traffic in both directions yesterday.
A fire at a petrol station in Stadhampton blocked travel through the village for hours.
The BP garage on Thame Road caught fire before 5.30pm on Monday, with a number of fire engines and emergency service crews at the scene.
The fire engulfed much of the M&S food outlet attached to the petrol station and by 6.10pm, the A329 was closed around the area, with police diverting traffic elsewhere.
The road was re-opened late last night.
Crews remained on scene until the early hours and have been going back to check and damp down any hotspots.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
People have been reacting to the blaze on Twitter:
So sad. The BP M&S garage in Stadhampton that I stop off at every morning for my large latte on the way to work, fully up in flames this evening. pic.twitter.com/fc9hpApbX8— Imran Escőbar (@razor5edge) July 15, 2019
More as we get it.
