Police appeal after voyeur watched girls changing by River Cherwell

He's described as a white man, in his twenties or thirties, wearing a red top and a cream coloured cap.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information in connection with a voyeurism offence in Thrupp.

It happened by the River Cherwell near Thrupp Community Woodland at about 4.40pm on Saturday 5th June.

It was reported that a man was hiding in long grass, watching three teenage girls get changed after they had been swimming in the river.

The girls challenged the man, who then fled the scene on a bicycle in the direction of Canal Road.

Investigating officer PC Faik Muhtaroglu said: “We need the public’s help to find the offender. He is described as a white man, in his twenties or thirties, about 5ft 7ins tall and bald. He was wearing a red top and a cream coloured cap.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have information in connection with this incident, especially if you saw the man in the area, know who he is, or think you recognise his description.

“You can leave any information that you have on our website, or call us on 101, quote investigation reference number 43210244876.”
