He was discovered at a property in Redbridge Hollow, off Abingdon Road, on Saturday morning.
Formal identification hasn't taken place yet, but he's been named locally as Anthony Joyce.
His wife, Margaret, has paid tribute to him on Facebook by posting: "You have left me a widow at 31 year old I never thought I would be for a long time..."
A post-mortem examination found the victim died from a head injury, police said.
His family are being supported by specially trained officers.

He is due to appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
