A woman was found dead and a man is in hospital with serious injuries.
Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit launched a murder investigation after a 35-year-old woman's body was found inside a property on Lytton Road shortly after 5am.
A 45-year-old man was also found with serious injuries and is currently in hospital.
Nobody's been arrested yet in connection with the incident, but police believe it to be isolated and are not looking for anyone else.

Detective Superintendent Ian Hunter, head of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: “We continue to investigate the circumstances of this incident and are in the early stages however at this time we believe this to be an isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
“A scene watch is in place and members of the public will see an increased police presence whilst we carry out our enquiries.
“We continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.”
