The boy, who we can’t name for legal reasons, is due in court today.
Thames Valley Police has now charged a teenager from Oxford with one count of Section 18 wounding with intent.
It’s in connection with a stabbing in Samphire Road on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim, a 14-year-old boy, remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Officers stepped up patrols in the Coltsfoot Square and Samphire Road areas following the stabbing.
Two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy, all from Oxford, were questioned on suspicion of attempted murder and have now been released on police bail until 13 July.
