Day 26 - Cogges Manor Farm
Fancy a family ticket to Cogges Manor Farm? Just don't tell anyone where you got it from...
Cogges Manor Farm in Witney is a unique heritage site with a fascinating story, set around an ancient manor house and farm buildings, beautiful walled garden and orchard. Visitors can take welly walks around the woodland, meadow and moat at the site of the original 'Cogges castle', visit the 13th century manor house with Victorian kitchen, dress up in historical costumes or enjoy the adventure play area & zip wire, 'mini Cogges' soft play, sandpit and croquet on the lawn.
There’s so much to enjoy at Cogges Manor Farm on an English summer’s day; playing croquet on the manor house lawn, chasing butterfly’s through the meadow, eating picnics in the orchard, building dens in the woods, or feeding the resident animals who enjoy nothing better than basking in the sun after some tasty treats. There are also daily changing activities throughout the summer holidays, Monday to Friday from 10-2, which include cooking, craft, stories and creative outdoor play. Please see the Cogges website here! Or follow us on facebook for further details.
