Day 22 - Oxford University Picnic
This summer your family will love exploring seven worlds of adventure right on your doorstep at Oxford University’s Gardens, Libraries and Museums. Loads of fun family events are taking place across seven sites…and almost all are free to attend. Discover dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History or learn how morse code works at the Museum of the History of Science. Get crafty at the Ashmolean Museum. Create masks the Pitt Rivers Museum. You can even try your hand at the historic printing press at the Bodleian Library.
And if you love picnics on Saturday 12 August come along to the beautiful Botanic Garden for the ‘Plants that changed the world’ picnic afternoon featuring theatre, music, family craft and gardening activities, great food and drink. All for the young and young at heart.
